GO 2 PROJECT GUY
Our experience in managing, coordinating and administering projects ranges from niche projects to large scale projects, with land size up to 134Ha/330 acres, and an overall project value up to R979m/US$157m/GBP76m.

Quality communication is essential, as it is the golden thread that runs through successful projects, especially in times of volatility and instability. Clear, timeous communication ensures that all stakeholders, internal and external, are appraised of each project's progress and requirements. This facilitates smooth coordination and transitions between different project elements, professional team and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle, which prevents avoidable delays.

We're also familiar with unusual project elements, such as dealing with issues like UXO (unexploded ordinance), archaeological watching briefs in areas of historical significance, seismic requirements, flood risk management, waste management (recycling rates achieved: 423.16m³ (89.59%) in 2021; 416.94m³ (96.08%) in 2022) and listed grade II heritage buildings dating back to the 1720's requiring movement monitoring during partial demolition by hand and during re-construction.

On request by clients, we've recruited and built up dedicated teams to coordinate and monitor particular elements of their projects. We value qualities such as integrity, critical thinking, capacity, capability, a strong work ethic, and a passion for the work in our people, and the teams have been successful in achieving the required outcomes.

Not all projects are equal. We're familiar with fast-paced, dynamic project environments. With increased volatility and instability (economic, political, etc.) in the operating environment, planning becomes increasingly complex and fluid as frequent, and sometimes radical adjustments are required to adapt to external changes. Under such circumstances, the skills, experience, endurance and attention to detail of the team become critical success factors.

Risk assessment and risk mitigation become exponentially more important as the nature and scope of projects increase in complexity, and time-frames are under pressure. Communication also becomes more critical in more dynamic, fluid operating environments.
